Valley Corp is looking for a skilled Underground Power Technician (Medium Voltage) in Nebraska to support its utility operations. You will handle medium-voltage cable systems including installation, termination, and maintenance in a dynamic construction setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with medium voltage cable systems, terminations, and splicing.
• Familiarity with 3M and Cooper products.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Experience operating underground construction equipment (trencher, plow, etc.).
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform terminations and connections on medium voltage cable.
• Safely operate trenchers, plows, and cable pulling equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and cable schedules.
• Work closely with crew leads to meet daily production goals.
• Follow all OSHA requirements and safety procedures.
