Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an experienced Mobile Mechanic to join the Carlin Underground Projects Team in Carlin, NV. The role focuses on safe maintenance and repair of mining equipment within collaborative teams executing development projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical experience, 3+ years in mining, and proficiency with SAP, Cat ET, Cat SIS, Cummins Insite, and Serdia. A rotating night/day schedule and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Five years of light/heavy mechanical experience.
• Three years of mining (surface or underground) experience.
• Strong computer skills preferred (SAP, Cat ET, Cat SIS, Cummins Insite, Serdia).

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work practices and operate/maintain equipment.
• Work in small teams to support development projects.
• Read blueprints and manuals; diagnose mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and explain components.
• Adapt to rotating night/day schedules and learn new tech.
