Job summary

Mader Group is seeking experienced underground mining mechanics to join our growing team across multiple U.S. locations. You will diagnose faults, perform breakdown repairs, and conduct planned maintenance on underground hard rock equipment in active mining environments.

Expect consistent rotations, all travel covered, and long-term projects with established crews. You will work with multiple OEMs and contribute to reliability improvements while maintaining safety standards underground.

Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing faults and performing breakdown repairs underground
• Completing planned maintenance and inspections to a high standard

• Identifying parts, tools, and opportunities to improve reliability

What You Bring

• 5+ years working on underground hard rock equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
• Experience with planned maintenance, inspections, and breakdowns underground
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field
• Experience across multiple OEMs (Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT, Normet, Getman)
• Strong safety mindset and awareness underground
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to integrate quickly
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
