Excel-Mining-LLC is seeking a Mine Systems Technician for its underground coal operations. You will install, maintain and advance underground tracking, communication and CO monitoring systems to support safety and regulatory compliance.

You will troubleshoot electrical and fiber optic networks, program PLCs, and maintain records while working under MSHA rules and company safety policies. This role reports to the Senior Mine Systems Coordinator.

Competenze

• Minimum of five (5) years of underground coal mining experience.
• Current Underground Electrician Certification.
• All MSHA retraining current and up to date.
• Knowledge of underground communication, monitoring, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work safely in underground mining environments.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform emergency and preventative maintenance on underground tracking systems.
• Advance, install and commission tracking and CO monitoring systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain coaxial leaky feeder cable systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain fiber optic networks.
• Install, calibrate and maintain CO sensors and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain mine monitoring computer systems and network infrastructure.
• Install and troubleshoot PLCs and related equipment.
• Diagnose system failures and minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs and testing.
• Coordinate with mine operations to support safe production.
