Job summary

LE01 Warrior Met Coal Mining, LLC is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician for our underground operations near Brookwood, Alabama. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and motor circuits, to keep mining equipment running safely.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of industrial experience, proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. MSHA electrical certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSHA electrical certification is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as an Electrical Controls Technician or similar in an industrial setting, preferably mining.
• Ability to read electrical schematics/diagrams and blueprints.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and motor control circuits.
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes; implement effective solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability of equipment.
