Job summary

CSG Talent seeks a Mine Superintendent to lead underground mining operations at a major site. The role focuses on production efficiency, safety performance, and cost control, reporting to site management.

You will develop and execute short- and mid-range operational plans with the broader leadership team, while managing budgeting, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture across health, safety, and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in mine operations management, including capital project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of mine safety regulations and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Shape short- and long-term mine planning and operational strategy with senior leadership.
• Translate targets into daily execution through front-line supervisors and track performance.
• Drive workforce planning, performance management, and development initiatives.
• Coordinate with site team to manage production and downstream processing issues.
• Own budgeting cycle end-to-end and adjust plans as conditions change.
• Oversee regulatory inspection processes and corrective actions.
• Build a strong safety culture with clear EHS expectations and continuous improvement.
