Job summary

Ledcor Mining is seeking a Superintendent to provide frontline leadership for largescale mining and earthworks. You will oversee crews and equipment, coordinate daily production plans, monitor output, and ensure alignment with mine plans, procedures, schedules and cost objectives.

You will drive production strategies on site, troubleshoot field issues, and foster a collaborative, safety-focused workforce in partnership with clients, engineers, maintenance, subcontractors and site staff.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of supervisory experience in mining operations or largescale earthworks.
• Ability to manage production schedules and adjust plans on site.
• Strong problem-solving skills to develop safe, practical solutions.
• Effective communicator with operators, engineers, clients and leadership.
• Collaborative leader promoting teamwork and safety culture.
• Willingness to travel and stay on site for projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mining and earthworks operations ensuring compliance with mine plans and safety standards.
• Optimize equipment utilization, labor efficiency, and material resources.
• Enforce site safety protocols meeting regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production schedules to meet targets across time horizons.
• Review invoices for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Hire, develop, and manage hourly on-site employees with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate production changes with client representatives as needed.
• Lead planning meetings to ensure equipment readiness and continuity.
