Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mine Superintendent to lead safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence at our East TN site. You will oversee underground hard rock mining activities, manage staff and contractors, and ensure production aligns with budget and schedule.

The role requires a BS in Mining Engineering and substantial supervision experience in mining. We offer full benefits and a strong growth environment at Jobot.

Qualifications

• BS in Mining Engineering required.
• Minimum 1 year experience supervising mining operations.
• Minimum 4 years underground hard rock mining experience.
• Experience in contract management desirable.
• Understanding of mine planning and scheduling processes.
• Knowledge of mining regulations and statutory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote and demonstrate safe behavior and lead by example.
• Comply with EHS standards and procedures.
• Achieve EHS goals in line with department/site/company standards.
• Lead EHS initiatives and report incidents/report investigations.
• Own safety of all personnel and ensure regulatory obligations are met.
• Support mine development and operations to meet plan specifications and budget.
• Manage resources to achieve budget and reduce costs where possible.
• Lead development and coaching of contractors and staff.
