Qualifications

• Ten years of underground mining experience and detailed knowledge of safety rules.

• Strong decision making and communication skills within a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor activities and ensure compliance with Kinross standards.
• Coordinate Kinross and contractor crews to meet plans and schedules.
• Lead field teams, train employees, and set daily priorities.
• Inspect ground conditions and monitor equipment performance.
• Prepare forecasts and report on shift performance and safety incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adequate inventories.
