Job summary

Warrior Met Coal is seeking a Maintenance Foreman to oversee underground mine maintenance, drive high equipment availability, and lead a safety-focused team. You will supervise repairs, coordinate with shift foremen, and ensure regulatory and company safety standards are met.

The role requires Alabama Mine Foreman certification, strong leadership, and experience with continuous mining systems. You will manage logs, parts, and safety processes in a demanding mining environment.

Qualifications

Valid Alabama Mine Foreman Certificate.
Proficient in the use and maintenance of continuous mining equipment and systems.

Ability to work under pressure in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance and repair activities for underground mining equipment to minimize downtime while ensuring safe operations.
Direct maintenance staff, coordinate with shift foremen on status of work and resource needs.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, inspect work areas, and conduct safety meetings.
Maintain repair logs, process parts orders, and document regulatory inspections.
Collaborate with environmental and safety teams to uphold environmental and workplace standards.
Perform ongoing performance monitoring and corrective actions as required.
