Job summary

Warrior Met Coal is seeking an Outby Foreman for our Berry, Alabama underground mine. You will lead the outby crew, enforce safety standards, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and company policies.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to keep the mine productive and safe. You will train the team, prepare reports, monitor ventilation and water systems, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in underground mining environments.
• Strong safety focus and regulatory knowledge (MSHA).
• Ability to train crews and coordinate maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the outby crew and enforce safety standards and company policies.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Conduct safety meetings and trainings for the team.
• Prepare and maintain records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Monitor ventilation, water, and drainage systems; respond to emergencies.
