Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited seeks a Mine Geologist for the Delta Junction, AK site. The role focuses on collecting geological information and guiding underground development to efficiently access ore bodies while ensuring safety and data quality.

You will map, sample, and interpret geological data, coordinating with Senior Geologists and field teams to support extraction plans and meet performance targets. This is a full-time on-site position with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Underground production experience is required.
• Ability to learn and safely complete tasks in a dynamic mining environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication with field and office staff.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety practices is essential.
• First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructions for underground development heading based on geological data.
• Collect samples and mapping data from development faces.
• Perform geological mapping of development areas as directed.
• Communicate geological information to mine personnel to optimise ore extraction.
• Maintain high data quality and safety standards in data collection.
