Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is developing a new underground limestone mine at our Shepherdsville, KY location and seeks a Mine Development Technician to support access declines, ventilation, and ground support for safe limestone extraction.

The role emphasizes safety, self-motivation, and the ability to operate heavy equipment including roof bolter, loaders, and haulers, with a schedule of 3 PM–11 PM, Monday to Friday, some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in a quarry environment.
• Experience in mine development and bolting work is a plus.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform bolting and meshing of the roof and ribs.
• Apply shotcrete to the roof and ribs as required.
• Conduct general mine labor in production areas (conveyors, ventilation, water lines, electrical).
• Safely operate a roof bolter, front-end loader, Manlift, Telehandler, and Articulating Haul Truck.
• Fill in for other development positions during vacations or high demand periods.
• Follow all policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental regulations and report hazards.
