Rogers Group, Inc. (Bullitt County Stone) is developing a new underground limestone mine in Shepherdsville, KY, and seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for night shift (3 PM–11 PM; Mon–Fri, some Saturdays). Wages start at $30.00/hr ($26.00 base + $4.00 shift differential).

This full-time role requires repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on mining equipment, with strong focus on safety and quality workmanship in a rugged quarry setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of heavy equipment experience.
• Able to weld and fabricate as needed.
• Operate a company vehicle on job sites.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and work at heights when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on mining and quarry equipment and fixed plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues affecting major components (engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical systems).
