Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Engineer II for our Turquoise Ridge operation in Winnemucca, Nevada. This dynamic role involves execution of mining projects, mine planning, and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering and at least 3 years of underground mining experience.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of underground Mining Engineering experience preferred.
• Understanding of engineering theories, principles, and US standards.
• Proven ability to work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Production reporting and KPI tracking for improvement.
• Mine design and planning, both short and long range.
• Conduct regular audits for compliance and efficiency.
• Coordinate exploration and in-fill drilling.
• Design layouts for mine development and services.
• Monitor site forecasts and budgets.
