Job summary

GridHawk LLC is seeking a locating technician to accurately locate underground utilities including telecom, electric, gas, fiber, water and sewer lines. You will observe, mark and document locations, using multiple methods under supervisor or independently.

The role requires focus, physical capability, and familiarity with tools and equipment. All candidates undergo a background check and must pass a DOT drug test; company benefits apply to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground facilities using transmitter and maps.
• Work in construction zones and various terrains in all weather.
• Interpret orders, blueprints, and maps to plan routes.
• Perform locates and on-call locates to meet customer needs.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team.
