Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class C Lineman Underground to construct and repair underground distribution systems with a strong safety focus. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to job sites, including out-of-state locations, as required by operational and customer needs.

The role requires a valid CDL, two years of underground line experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Two years of underground line experience.
• Valid CDL (Class A).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, emergencies, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction and repair of underground distribution systems with safety first.
• Install and repair underground facilities and troubleshoot faults on primary/secondary systems.
• Learn switching, tagging, grounding procedures and live-line work under supervision.
• Work in confined spaces near energized equipment with supervision.
• Operate excavation equipment (backhoes, trenchers, excavators, pulling gear).
• Respond to outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotations.
