Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class C Lineman Underground to construct and repair electrical underground distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to various job sites as needed. Report to the Foreman and follow all safety protocols.

The role requires two years of underground line experience, a valid Class A CDL, and a willingness to travel long distances on short notice. This position involves outdoor work, potential overtime, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Two years of underground line experience required.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including overtime and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair underground distribution systems with safety as a priority.
• Troubleshoot and locate faults on primary and secondary underground lines.
• Learn switching, tagging, grounding, and live-line procedures under supervision.
• Operate excavation equipment and work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Support outages, storms, and emergency responses as needed.
