This position is an entry-level, full-time role in the construction industry, focused on supporting construction activities and maintaining safety standards.

Position Summary

The Underground Laborer plays a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company assets, supporting construction activities, following crew leader's directions, loading and unloading equipment, setting up work sites, hand digging, and maintaining OSHA standards.

Primary Position Duties

• Operate and handle company assets safely and efficiently.
• Follow directions from the crew leader.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment and supplies.
• Set up worksite.
• Hand dig with shovels.
• Restore worksite after construction activities.
• Assist in traffic control.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards.

Position Requirements

Physical demands include working primarily in the field outdoors in all weather conditions, exposure to dust, temperature fluctuations, and high noise levels. Employees must:

• Use hands and fingers to handle objects and tools.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Stand, talk, and hear regularly.

Education or Skills

• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Must meet physical requirements.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
