Job Description

The successful candidate should be self-motivated, have a great work ethic, and be able to work well with little supervision, in various environments or inclement weather. This position offers the opportunity to be promoted to a Water Meter Installer.

As a Laborer, your responsibilities include:

• Following project instructions from the Field Service Manager or Site Supervisor
• Cutting various parts for product assembly
• Standing, walking, using hands to handle supplies and equipment; reaching, lifting, etc.
• Completing all tasks promptly and efficiently
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Maintaining attire and grooming standards
• Adhering to UMS safety, productivity, and quality standards

Continuous feedback from your supervisor will help you improve and potentially advance within the company.

UMS provides step-by-step training to ensure your success.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monday - Friday work week, with occasional Saturdays
• $14.00 hourly wage
• Weekly paychecks
