Job summary

Blue Streak Llc in the United States is seeking an Underground Laborer to join our field crew. You will participate in the installation and maintenance of underground OSP telecommunications infrastructure, working with operators and foremen to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include loading and transporting materials, preparing work zones, trenching and conduit work, cabling from reels, and assisting with daily site activities. Must pass background and drug screening; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground construction is preferred.
• Familiarity with underground construction tools and equipment.
• CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of Ditch Witch, Vermeer and similar equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Assist the Foreman and crew with daily job-site activities as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in underground construction preferred
• Familiarity with underground construction tools and equipment preferred
• CDL preferred
• Knowledge of Ditch Witch, Vermeer, Mini Excavators, and similar underground construction equipment is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license required
