Job summary

Redpath is seeking an HSET Superintendent to manage underground safety operations and mentor the safety team across the project. You will ensure compliance with MSHA standards, state regulations, and client requirements while leading risk assessments and incident investigations.

The role involves coordinating with inspectors, developing SMPs, and delivering training to staff. A strong background in mining safety, leadership, and communication is essential for success in this high-responsibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Mine Safety Professional (CMSP) preferred.
• Experience in Mine Inspection Techniques (including Health Sampling).
• Proven accident investigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site safety personnel and HSE operations.
• Ensure site compliance with MSHA standards, ATF regulations, and client requirements.
• Develop and implement Safety Management Plans and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with MSHA and clients during incidents and investigations.
• Provide training for Redpath supervisors and safety personnel.
