Job summary

Duquesne Light Company in Pittsburgh is seeking a Supervisor, Network Operations to lead safe operation, maintenance and restoration of underground and secondary network systems. You will direct crews and contractors, develop work packages, and coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure reliable power delivery.

The role requires a engineering or related degree (or equivalent field experience), strong leadership, and proven ability to manage outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; construction experience preferred.
• Experience in unionized environments and with a CBA is preferred.
• Strong leadership, safety, and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Project Management and field crews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe operation, maintenance, testing and restoration of underground/secondary network systems.
• Direct field crews and contractors to maximize productivity and safety.
• Develop work packages, switching orders, hazard assessments, and restoration plans.
• Coordinate with DOC Operations, Engineering, Asset Management, Work Planning and Project Management.
• Lead emergency response during outages and storm events.
• Maintain accurate records and timesheets and ensure proper material tracking.
