Job summary

Duquesne Light Company in Pittsburgh seeks a Supervisor, Electrical Maintenance to lead technicians responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting substation equipment within our transmission and distribution networks. You will ensure safety protocols, project timelines, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with engineering to resolve issues.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects across locations.

Qualifications

BS in a relevant field and 5+ years in electric utility field operations.
Experience working in a bargaining unit environment.
Familiar with OSHA and industrial safety practices.
Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

Oversee technicians in Substation Electrical Maintenance.
Plan, schedule, and supervise daily work activities and establish performance measures.
Oversee substation equipment inspection and maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and collective bargaining agreement.
Support testing, repairs, and replacements; analyze failures and outage duration.
Procure procedures, tools, parts, vehicles for daily activities.
Storm team duties as assigned.
Lead safety practices and training.
