Job summary

Duquesne Light Company seeks a T&D Operations Supervisor to lead field crews responsible for constructing, maintaining, and restoring the electric distribution system. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient work while fostering a safety-focused culture and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

As a people leader, you will coach and develop staff, manage performance, and coordinate resources to meet department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; or 5+ years OH/UG line work experience.
• Completion of Utility Technical Training – OH Supervisor within first year in role.
• Experience working in a union environment and administering a CBA.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line leadership for field crews ensuring safe, reliable work execution.
• Direct scheduling and assignment of daily work to crews to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (NESC, OSHA) and quality goals.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and work planning for proper job planning.
• Coach, develop and manage employee performance and training requirements.
