Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to lead electrical and power system capital projects, including substations, distribution, generation, and controls for both surface and underground operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) preferred.
• Minimum of three years in power systems engineering or project management, preferably in mining or utility setting.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software and relevant electrical codes/standards.
• Experience in managing external contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and power system capital projects up to 120 kV, ensuring reliability and safety.
• Supervise design, investigation and construction of electric infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external contractors to meet scope, timelines and budget.
• Oversee commissioning and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for reliability improvements and cost efficiency.
