Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 3–7 years of relevant experience for mid-to-senior levels.
• Understanding of electrical engineering and utility power system concepts.
• Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground distribution design and conduit system planning.
• Design substation cables, ducts, and exits using feeder maps and GIS data.
• Coordinate with contractors, schedule bid packages and permits.
• Provide CAD designs and diagrams; create splices and terminations.
• Support safety, budgeting and project scheduling within deadlines.
• Assist in storm restoration and de-brief for outages and repairs.
