Job summary

Barrick Mining Corporation is looking for an experienced Underground Construction Superintendent to lead all scheduled and unscheduled construction activities at Fourmile, ensuring safe, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective delivery. You will lead multiple crews and drive long-range construction planning with senior operational leadership to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years underground mining construction experience.
• 5+ years leadership experience supervising crews.
• Direct underground environment experience.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contractors.
• Knowledge of incident investigation, MOC, and safety/environmental management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and performance across surface and underground operations.
• Develop underground and surface construction plans end-to-end.
• Oversee risk assessment via FLRA and TRA.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and contracts on major projects.
• Coach supervisors and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and plant changes through MOC.
• Lead environmental and EMS programs and incident investigations.
• Ensure weekly schedule buy-in from all stakeholders.
