Job summary

Horizontal Boring & Tunneling Co. seeks General or Skilled Construction Laborers for projects across the middle United States, including Pueblo, CO. Responsibilities include site setup, material handling, equipment operation, and safety compliance on outdoor, year-round construction sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground utility, heavy highway, bridges or dirt work preferred.
• Experience operating trenchless equipment such as Tunnel Boring, Guided Boring or Auger Boring systems preferred.
• Experience loading/unloading materials and operating heavy machinery (excavators, backhoes, skidsteers, forklifts).
• Ability to read plans and use surveying equipment to calculate grade and alignment.

Responsibilities

• Climb ladders into/out of earthen pits/trenches.
• Walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift as part of daily duties.
• Load/unload trailers, set up materials, fuel equipment.
• Operate trenchless machines and heavy equipment; survey and weld pipe as needed.
