Job summary

Horizontal-Boring- is seeking a General or Skilled Construction Laborer to perform outdoor trenchless utility work across the central United States. Duties include loading, setting up materials, fueling equipment and operating trenchless machines, surveying and welding pipes as needed.

Applicants should have construction experience in underground utilities, be comfortable with heavy equipment, and able to work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground utility, heavy highway, bridges or dirt work is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement preferred.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug tests and background checks.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in trenches; capable of heavy lifting and operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials and equipment; set up materials for site operations.
• Fuel equipment and operate hand/power tools, trenchless machinery and heavy equipment.
• Survey and grade work using surveying equipment; install and weld pipe as required.
• Follow site plans and specifications; maintain safety and housekeeping on site.
• Work overtime or weekends as needed.
