University of North Carolina Wilmington seeks an Undergraduate Research Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of undergraduate research grants, from pre-award to closeout, supporting student success and faculty research.

You will identify funding opportunities, coordinate with faculty to prepare budgets, and monitor post-award activities with CSURF and Sponsored Programs, engaging with multiple campus units and student stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus one year related to the assignment.
• Experience in grant management or research administration preferred.
• Familiarity with undergraduate research.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with grants.gov/eRA Commons/InfoEd is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the full lifecycle of major internally funded undergraduate research grants with pre- and post-award responsibilities.
• Identify funding opportunities and coordinate with faculty and units to prepare documents and budgets for competitive applications.
• Post-award, monitor budgets, prepare reports, and manage grant closeout.
• Collaborate with CSURF team, the Research Development Office, Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance, and other research operations groups across campus.
• Some work with undergraduate and graduate students will be required.
