Job summary

Saint Joseph’s University’s School of Nursing and Allied Health on the Hawk Hill campus invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor to provide didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction for undergraduate nursing students, focusing on obstetric, pediatric, and/or medical-surgical care.

The educator will support student learning, advise and mentor, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in professional development to foster a dynamic learning

Qualifications

• Three years minimum teaching experience in nursing, with focus on obstetric, pediatric, or medical-surgical nursing.
• Strong clinical background in obstetric, pediatric, or critical care nursing with patient care and teaching expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning in lectures, clinical simulations, labs, and small groups.
• Prepare and deliver course materials, assessments, and evaluations.
• Mentor students and advise academically; participate in curriculum development and review.
