Job summary

Saint Joseph's University invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure-track faculty position to provide didactic, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction for undergraduate nursing students, particularly in obstetric, pediatric, and/or critical care nursing in the baccalaureate nursing program.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of teaching experience in nursing with focus on obstetric, pediatric, or critical care nursing or medical-surgical nursing.
• Strong clinical background and ability to teach, evaluate, and model professional practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning experiences in lectures, simulations, laboratory skills, and clinical settings.
• Provide instruction in nursing theory, concepts, and practices aligned with guidelines and university standards.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare and deliver course materials, syllabi, and assessments for undergraduate nursing students.
