Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required; doctoral degree in nursing, or enrolled in a doctoral program, preferred.
• Active unencumbered nursing license in Connecticut.
• Experience in teaching and learning principles for adult education, including curriculum development and competency-based assessment.
• Innovative curricular development and ability to incorporate simulation pedagogy into courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses as part of a 12-cross-credit load per semester (typically 4 classes).
• Contribute to the profession and advance scholarship and service missions.
• Participate in on-campus events, committees, and student activities.
