Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is offering a 12-week summer internship to本科 students. You will be matched with a department and perform work that supports our mission while gaining exposure to a range of careers in central banking.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support IT equipment deployment and secure hardware wipes.

• Assist CI/CD pipeline support and IaC development for observability tools.

Internship Overview

Be a part of our 2027 summer intern cohort! We are currently accepting applications from undergraduate college students who are interested in learning more about the nation's central banking system while contributing in real ways to our work. As an intern, you'll be matched with a department that can leverage your skills and experience, and you'll perform work that helps teams meet their goals - ultimately supporting the organization's mission. You'll also have opportunities to participate in workshops designed for our intern cohort, build your professional network, and gain exposure to a wide variety of careers.

Internship Details

• Program length: 12 weeks from May 24, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
• Hours: 40 hours/week.
• Pay: $23.00/hour.
• Position type: Temporary.
• Work location: Regular on-site presence.
• Application period: Open November 1, 2026, and close January 3, 2027 at midnight.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree. You must be enrolled when you apply, but not necessarily during the internship. Open to students graduating December 2026 or later.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn new tools.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.

• Some positions require U.S. citizenship.
