Job summary

The Ohio State University Libraries seek an Undergraduate Engagement Librarian to lead the development and assessment of student-focused learning experiences for first- and second-year undergraduates. You will collaborate across campus, supervise 1–3 staff, and teach credit and co-curricular sessions while advancing information literacy in general education.

Qualifications

• ALA-accredited master’s degree or comparable graduate degree.
• Four years’ experience instructing and/or programming for early career undergraduate students.
• Familiarity with information literacy frameworks and related professional documents.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead liaison to campus units (Office of Student Life, First Year Experience, STEP).
• Develop and maintain programs for first- and second-year students.
• Teach credit courses and co-curricular sessions within the T&L Department.
• Integrate information literacy into the general education program.
• Supervise 1–3 staff members within the Teaching & Learning department.
