The Undergraduate Research Assistant will assist with ongoing meat science and muscle biology research through sample collection and preparation, laboratory analyses, data collection and entry, and general laboratory maintenance. The student will gain hands‑on experience in meat science research, laboratory techniques, data management, and scientific research while working closely with graduate students, staff, and faculty. Responsibilities will require attention to detail, reliability, adherence to laboratory safety protocols, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a research team.
