Job summary

Amgen in Cambridge, MA invites undergraduate interns to join the Operations team for a 13-week Summer 2027 program. This internship blends project-based work with experiential learning, mentoring, and networking opportunities.

You will support five Operations sub-functions (Supply Chain, Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Facilities & Engineering), develop a project charter, analyze problems, and present findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full‑time Bachelor’s Degree program with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Preferred concentrations include Engineering, Life Science, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Applied Mathematics or Data Science.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• VBA for Excel and SQL knowledge are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project charter to map objectives, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
• Analyze problems, measure current state, and develop recommendations using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Present findings through an intern-wide poster session and final readout to executive management.
• Network with colleagues across the company and participate in events and ERGs.
