Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD, DNP, EdD, or equivalent).
• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license, or eligibility for Massachusetts RN licensure.
• Experience teaching nursing in higher education.
• Demonstrated expertise in undergraduate nursing education, curriculum development, and student learning assessment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to working with diverse student populations and advancing health equity.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses using evidence-based and student-centered teaching approaches.
• Contribute to course and curriculum development, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support student success through mentoring, advising, remediation, and NCLEX preparation activities using ATI.
• Utilize instructional technologies and online platforms to enhance student engagement.
• Participate in program assessment, accreditation activities, and curriculum review.
• Engage in service activities supporting the department, college, and university.
• Contribute to student recruitment, admissions, orientation, progression, and retention efforts.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, clinical partners, and students to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Attend and participate in program, department, college, and university meetings.
• Maintain professional engagement and contribute to the department's mission and priorities.
