Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license, or eligibility for Massachusetts RN licensure.
• Experience teaching nursing in higher education.
• Demonstrated expertise in undergraduate nursing education, curriculum development, and student learning assessment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to working with diverse student populations and advancing health equity.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses using evidence-based and student-centered teaching approaches.
• Contribute to course and curriculum development, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support student success through mentoring, advising, remediation, and NCLEX preparation activities using ATI.
• Utilize innovative instructional technologies and online learning platforms to enhance student engagement.
• Participate in program assessment, accreditation activities, and ongoing curriculum review.
• Engage in service activities that support the department, college, and university.
• Contribute to student recruitment, admissions, orientation, progression, and retention efforts.
• Collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, clinical partners, and students to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Attend and actively participate in program, department, college, and university meetings and activities.
• Maintain professional engagement and contribute to the mission and strategic priorities of the Department of Nursing.
