Job summary

The position begins September 1, 2027, with a focus on health equity, research leadership, and mentorship of doctoral students and junior faculty.

Qualifications

• Earned research doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in nursing or a related field.
• Eligibility for RN licensure in Massachusetts.
• Record of research, teaching, and service meriting appointment at the rank with tenure.
• Current extramural funding as PI or a plan to secure funding upon arrival.
• Experience mentoring doctoral students, postdocs, and early-career faculty.
• Teaching experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and expand an externally funded program of research as principal investigator.
• Teach and mentor students, including chairing and serving on dissertation committees.
• Mentor early-career faculty in research development and grant proposals.
• Provide leadership and service to the department, college, university, and the profession.
• Build and sustain research collaborations with the university and community partners.
