Job summary

Repsol invites engineering students to join the Reservoir Engineering Team for a 12-week summer internship in The Woodlands, TX. You will work on live projects under the guidance of senior engineers, contributing to mid- to long-term strategic options to maximize asset value.

The program offers mentoring, increasing responsibility with experience, hands-on training, exposure to multiple technical groups, and practical software training.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred Petroleum & Geosciences).
• GPA 3.3+ and unofficial transcripts acceptable.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for a 12-week May–Aug 2027 summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining an up-to-date integrated geophysical model.
• Develop and inventory capital investment opportunities (drilling inventory).
• Provide G&G input to support resource assessments.
• Characterize capital investment inventory for strategic plans and budgets.
• Assist with the annual reserve process and budget stewardship.
• Develop an annual capital program aligned with the strategic plan.
• Analyze the integrated schedule to optimize asset value.
• Maintain accurate reserves and resource position.
• Identify process improvements for resilience at varying commodity prices.
• Coordinate field visits with your supervisor.
• Collaborate within a multidiscipline team and with field personnel.
