Job summary

Repsol invites engineering students to join the Development Engineering Team for a 12‑week summer internship in The Woodlands, TX. You will contribute to facilities and process engineering, design optimization, and project execution for upstream operations.

You will gain hands-on experience with process simulations, equipment sizing, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration, while receiving mentorship from seasoned engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher (transcript can be unofficial).
• Must be available May 17–Aug 6, 2027 for 12 weeks.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, modeling, and optimization of surface facilities and processes.
• Perform basic process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, ProMax, or similar tools.
• Support project scoping, cost estimates, bid packages, and schedules.
• Participate in field site visits and project reviews.
