Job summary

Repsol in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking an engineering student intern to join the Reservoir Engineering Team for Summer 2027. You will work on real projects alongside senior staff, contributing to data analysis, model maintenance, and capital planning activities.

The program offers mentoring, hands-on experience, and exposure to various technical groups. Interns are onsite May 17 to Aug 6, with a 12-week schedule and a summer stipend.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in data analysis, business analytics, problem solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to work with data and derive meaningful insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated and organized.

Responsibilities

• Support the Reservoir Engineering Team on projects within area of interest.
• Assist in maintaining an integrated geophysical/geological model.
• Develop and inventory capital investment opportunities on Company lands.
• Provide input for reserves assessment and annual budget planning.
• Coordinate field visits and communicate with supervision.
