Job summary

Repsol is seeking a Production Allocation Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027 in The Woodlands, TX. You will support daily and monthly production allocation activities for oil, gas, and water, collaborating with engineers, operations, and accounting teams.

You will gain hands-on experience across SCADA, measurement, and production data workflows, with mentoring and exposure to multiple technical groups. A summer stipend is provided and interns work onsite Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical/Data Engineering).
• GPA 3.3+ required; graduates 2027–2029 encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support daily well-level production allocation for oil, gas, and water.
• Assist monthly close activities using tank readings, SCADA, and accounting totals.
• Identify and reconcile production data discrepancies (e.g., tests, tank measurements).
• Assist in data validation and updating inputs for allocation engines.
