Prosegur Security is looking to hire multiple Unarmed Security Supervisors that are customer service driven for a Healthcare facility in Bridgeport, CT. We are looking for Security professionals that want to grow and develop professionally within our organization.

We are looking to fill multiple positions for Second Shift.

Monday-Friday: 4pm-12am

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Follow established Hospital and Department standard precautions and procedures in the in the performance of all job duties to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.
• Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff including security guards and dispatcher.
• Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff including training on workplace safety and security topics.
• Write detailed reports and maintain daily activity reports
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements.
• Meet Hospital attendance and punctuality requirements to be on your assigned post on time to ensure proper coverage and quality services to patients, visitors and employees.

Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Qualifications:

• 3+ years security experience
• Prior security supervisor experience
• Connecticut Guard Card
