Top Guard Security, Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Security - Shift Supervisor, Unarmed to oversee on-site security operations.

The role requires leadership of unarmed staff, incident response, and coordination with local authorities, with a starting pay of $24 per hour. Candidates must have a clean driving record, military/law enforcement background or at least one year security experience, and DCJS Unarmed card plus CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DCJS Unarmed card and valid driver’s license required.
• Must have or be willing to obtain DCJS certification and CPR/AED/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct security personnel during assigned shifts.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance systems to prevent security breaches.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security threats.
• Maintain accurate reports of security incidents and shift activities.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Train and mentor security officers to uphold safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
• Lead inspections and provide improvement recommendations.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Leadership experience in a security or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
• Proficient with Genetec security software administration.
