Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) at our Etna, OH location. The officer will provide customer service, patrol duties, and access control while maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and driver authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain entry/exit documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol findings, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
