Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Console in Olive Branch, MS. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, support access control and alarm response, and deliver outstanding customer service at a technology location.

You will use a computer or tablet to document observations, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and follow post orders and escalation procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
