Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Access Authorization in Olive Branch, MS, to monitor and protect client sites across technology, media, and telecom locations. You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, and manage access control using company tools.

Qualified candidates will have badge experience, computer proficiency, and a focus on safety. The role is full-time with day and evening shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigations will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and maintain professional communication with site personnel and the public.
